Beirut Wings FTO welcomes Lebanese nationals into its flight training programs, subject to compliance with Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA) regulations. Training is conducted in a structured, professional environment combining ground school and flight training, with clear pathways from initial licensing to advanced ratings.

Eligibility and Requirements

In accordance with LARs s401.25, applicants for a Student Pilot License must meet the following requirements:

Proof of Lebanese citizenship

Minimum age of 18 years

Recognized secondary school certificate, supported by an official school or university statement detailing academic background, along with an affidavit of good conduct and attitude

Successful completion of a psychological assessment to evaluate suitability for the aviation training environment

Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Medical Certificate issued by an LCAA-approved Aeromedical Examiner

Proficiency in the English language, with the ability to communicate fluently

Completion of required knowledge and introductory training, including:

  • Basic Indoctrination Training
  • Disciplinary Training Course
  • Introductory Flight covering preflight briefing, aircraft inspection, takeoff, basic aircraft control, landing, and debriefing

The Student Pilot License is issued for a validity period of one year
